The Almighty Dollar is an industrial metal song by Ozzy Osbourne from his 2007 album Black Rain. It is the fifth track on the album.
The song's lyrics blame the intentional ignoring of problems such as global warming and pollution due to greed on the condition our planet is in. The song uses "horror-like" sounds, negative key notes, and intentional profanity (evident in the line "How could you screw us all over?", which later in the song is changed to "How could you fuck us all over?") which are rare in most of Ozzy's songs.
The line "You killed my faith/Mother Earth, desecrate" contains a possible reference to Revelation (Mother Earth) a track from Osbourne's first solo album, Blizzard of Ozz. In addition, the line "Is it too late to learn?" may be a reference to Osbourne's signature song, Crazy Train. The line "The truth is inconvenient" could be a possible reference to Al Gore's 2006 documentary film An Inconvenient Truth which is about climate change.
